Lobeda Garrett

Lobeda Garrett age 85 of Hamilton passed away on Wednesday November 28, 2018. She was born on July 7, 1933 in Manchester, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Chester and Elizabeth (nee Hicks) Maupin. Lobeda was preceded in death by her husband Robert Garrett and the love of her life Bobby “Poppy” Bowling. She is survived by five children Michael (Doreen) Robinson, Juanita Bowling, Patsy (the late Bud) Glidden, Deborah (Thomas Roark) Garrett, and Melissa (Bobby) Bowling; two siblings Charlene (the late Dick) Neighnabor and Chester (Carol) Maupin; one son in law Bruce Brooks. She also leaves behind many many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and close friends. She was also preceded in death by six children Toni Robinson, Leslie LaCroix, LaJuana Brooks, Martha Jenkins, Darrell Garrett, and Sherri Clark; ten siblings Lucy Souder, Hazel Robinson, Mamie Morris, Frankie Rumpler, Maureen Miller, Raymond Maupin, Phyllis Martin, Ester Duncan, Ernestein Maupin and Clara Hurley. The family would like to offer a special thanks to care giver Valarie McKinney for her loving care of Lobeda. Visitation will be on Monday December 3, 2018 at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield from 5:00PM- 8:00PM. The funeral service will be on Tuesday December 4, 2018 at the funeral home at 1:00PM with Rev. Charles Pettit and Rev Linda Banks officiating.
