Loyd Merida

Loyd Merida age 88 of Loveland, Ohio passed away Monday August 21, 2023. He was born April 2, 1935 in Stinking Creek, Kentucky. Brother Merida was a preacher of the Gospel for over 52 years. He was an evangelist and missionary in Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama and also in Haiti. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and dedicated his life to helping others. He is survived by his children Sandra (Hansel) Coyle and Bart (Krista) Merida; three grandchildren Aaron (Becca) Laws, Brittany (Greg) Broerman, and Kristen Merida; one great granddaughter Haley Broerman, and David Laws. Mr. Merida was preceded in death by his parents and his great granddaughter Everly Rose Laws. Visitation 5-8 PM Friday September 1, 2023 at the Anointed Church of the Living God, 4924 Marion Avenue, Norwood. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday September 2, 2023 at the church in Norwood. Burial to follow with full military honors in Arlington Memorial Gardens.
