Marcia L. Henderson

Marcia L. Henderson age 72 of Hamilton passed away Thursday May 30, 2024. She was born October 25, 1951 in Hamilton, Ohio the daughter of the late Richard Hunker and Margaret Giffen Hunker. Marcia was a 1970 graduate of Garfield High School. She loved tap dancing. The Beatles, crafting, watching “shoot em up, bang em up” movies, Shirley Temple, bird watching, traveling, and one can of Coke every day. She always had to have on her red lipstick and jewelry. There was nothing better than the sound of her laugh and her high pitched whistle. Shoot, fire, burn, matches were always one of her favorite sayings when things would go wrong. Her family and friends meant everything to her. She was a spunky and loving self-proclaimed “irate midget”. Marcia is survived by her three children B. J. Henderson, Ahmee Henderson, and Micah (A.J.) Smith; two grandchildren O.J. Smith and Sheldon Henderson; one brother Wayde (Kim) Hunker; two half sisters Barbara Brune and Linda Lester; several nieces and nephews and her former spouse Douglas Henderson. Marcia was also preceded in death by her son Nathan and her brother Greg. A celebration of life will be held from 5:00-900 PM on Saturday July 27, 2024 at Events on MAIN, 514 Main Street, Hamilton, Ohio 45013.
