Maria D. Sasser age 40 of Hamilton passed away Tuesday October 3, 2023 at home. She was born February 8, 1983 at Fort Hamilton Hospital the daughter of Robert Sasser and Karen D. (Mayer) Sasser. She was a very loving daughter, sister, and her favorite role was aunt Ria. Maria was a Hamilton High graduate class of 2001. She was a student athlete participating in basketball, soccer, and track. Maria is best known as the water girl for the football team. She served her community for many years as a Larosa’s employee. Maria was an avid music lover and was quick to provide comedy relief with a suitable movie quote. Always there with a laugh, smile, joke or impression. She is well known for her outgoing, extroverted personality that always lit up the room! Maria enjoyed spending every free moment traveling to her favorite beach in Destin, spending time with friends and most importantly being with her family. She is survived by her parents, siblings Toby (Melissa) Sasser, Nick (Amanda) Sasser. Nieces and nephews Megan (Drake) Couch, Zachary Sasser, Hailey Childs, Austin Craft, Layla Sasser, Harper Sasser, great niece Violet Couch, grandmother Jeannette Sasser,and Adam Sasser. Many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of life long friends. Preceded in death by Grandpa Clovis Sasser, Aunt Maureen Mayer. Grandparents Martin “Gramps” and Irene “Granny” Mayer. A celebration of life open house will be held at Pohlman Lanes and Family Entertainment Complex on Saturday October 14, 2023 begining at 2:00 PM for all those that loved Maria to gather, share memories, laughs and love.
