Mary Louise (North) Sturgill age 72 of Reily Township went to be with the Lord surrounded by family and friends at 5:42 PM on Friday January 25, 2019. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on November 27, 1946 the daughter of Pauline (Sam) House and William North. Her greatest joy was taking care of her family, cooking, and volunteering at Open Hands Food Pantry and Heaton Street Outreach. She was employed by McCullough-Hyde Hospital and was a member of the Reily Township Volunteer fire department auxiliary. She also enjoyed playing bingo with her aunt and best friend Oval Bryant. On July 28, 1960 she married Andrew Sturgill. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by two sons Burton (Julie) Sturgill of Franklin County, Indiana and Jason (Jessika) Sturgill of Hamilton, Ohio; son in law Dennis Ward; 15 grandkids, 19 great grandkids; 3 brothers, numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 49 years, Andrew Sturgill, a very special daughter Vickie Ward, granddaughter Rachel Sturgill, 2 brothers Joe Hibbard and Dennis North, and 2 sisters Kay Johnson and Melissa Hampton. Visitation at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield on Tuesday January 29, 2019 from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 PM, with Mark Fitzgerald of Cobblestone Community Church, officiating. Burial to follow at Sims Cemetery in Franklin County, Indiana. The family wishes to give a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Hospice of Southwest Ohio.
