Mary Lou Parker, 87, of Fairfield, Ohio went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 1, 2020. Mary Lou (Miller) was born on December 30, 1932 in Columbus, Ohio to Ethel (Widney) and Wilbur Miller. She graduated from Dublin High School and later attended Olivet Nazarene College. She was a beloved wife, homemaker and mother for several years before going to work at McSwain Flooring. She was an active member of Springdale Nazarene Church, where she taught Sunday School, sang in the choir, and participated in various ministries for more than fifty years. She was a gifted host who enjoyed small gatherings in their home and also larger events for her local and district church. She is survived by her husband, Alan Parker; son Mark (Janelle) Parker, son Jeff (Brenda) Parker; grandchildren Grant Parker, Brycen Parker, Ellie Parker, Anna Parker, and Sam Parker; step-daughters Karen (Dave) Belknap and Kathy Little; step-grandchildren Todd Belknap, Eric Belknap, Joel Little and Ross Little; brothers Dan (Toni) Miller, Wilbur (Pat) Miller, sister-in-law Sylvia Miller, and great-grandchildren Christian, Gracie, Blaine, and Maddox. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Jean Vowel, brother Jerry Miller, and step-son-in-law Lewin Little. The funeral will be held at the Springdale Nazarene Church, 11177 Springfield Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45246 on Thursday, August 6 at 12:00 pm with Reverend Daryl Blank and Pastor Marshall Duke officiating. A visitation time will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the service begins. Memorial gifts may be directed to Springdale Nazarene Church Preschool.
