Matthew E. Rice

Matthew E RIce, age 38, of Cincinnati passed away Sunday April 30,2023. He was born September 7, 1984 in Columbus, Ohio the son of Mark and Sharon {nee Ruckman} Rice.
Matthew loved animals, especially his pitbull Rain and was a champion of the welfare all animals. He was a fan of all genres of music and his love of music inspired him to write and create music with his brother and various artists. He enjoyed all sports particularly football, which he played in school. Additionally, he coached youth football, the Anderson Wildcats, for six years with his father and brother.
Matthew is survived by his parents Mark and Sharon Rice; his brother Eric Rice {finacee PeteRa Krebs}; grandmother Ann Rice: and aunt and Godmother Rebekah Rice; uncle John McLoughlin; his fiancee Sara Folkers; as well as his uncle Jim Ruckman and several cousins.
Visitation will be at the Webster Funeral Home 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield on Friday May 12, 2023 from 6:00 PM until the time of the memorial service at 7:00 PM.
