Melody J. “Mel” Johnson age 57 of Hamilton passed away Friday February 17, 2023 in her home. She was born October 30, 1957 in Hamilton, Ohio the daughter of the late Gene Schalk and Marydale Patrick Schalk. Mel worked for over 30 years at Champion Papers in Hamilton. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband Fred Johnson; two children Brandi (Steven) Hoskins and Ryan Johnson; and nine grandchildren Markus, Tyler, Dakota, Hanna, Anastasia, Olivia, Alexander, Mina, and Trystan.
