Michael Sheehy

Michael “Mike” Sheehy, age 69, formerly of Fairfield passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022, surrounded by his wife, daughters, and son. Michael served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Era and was honorably discharged. In the Navy, he worked in the boiler room of the USS Hermitage. After his military service he used his training for a long career in Plant Operations & Maintenance. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Teresa; daughters, Holly Sheehy (Kurt Hileman), Tricia (Tony) Pickens, and Becky (Eric) Cimini; son, Tim (Jenny) Sheehy; eight grandchildren; two sisters; two brothers; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. A visitation will be held at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way, Fairfield at Rt.4, Monday, February 28, 2022 from 5-7PM with military honors at 7:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Fairfield on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 11:00AM, with Father Larry officiating.
