Michael W. Garrett age 58 of Oxford passed away on Tuesday April 30, 2019. He was born in Hamilton on July 27, 1960 the son of the late Elbert and Lessie (nee Lainhart) Garrett. Michael leaves behind his wife Amy Garrett; two children Latisha Garrett and Marchello Garrett; seven grandchildren Brianna, Jacob, Shawn, Quentyn, Jasmine, Brayden, and Trevor; nine siblings Darryl Garrett, Connie (Jimmy) Smith, Judy (Thomas) Ellis, Deborah Hall, Charlotte (James) Price, Sherry Garrett, Dawana (Robert) Embry, Andy Garrett and Jarold Garrett. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other family and close friends. He was also preceded in death by his son Michael Garrett Jr; one brother Elbert Garrett Jr; and one nephew Joshua Smith. Visitation will be on Friday May 10, 2019 at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield from 11:00AM until the time of the funeral at 1:00PM.
