Neil Moore

Neil Moore age 78 of Fairfield passed away on Monday February 26, 2024. He was born on August 11, 1945 in Detroit, MI, the son of the late Harlan and Shirley (nee Steier) Moore. He grew up in California and then enlisted in the United States Navy. He earned a degree from San Jose State in California and then went on to have a career in purchasing, then later in industrial sales. Neil enjoyed photography so much that he traveled the country taking photos of many scenic areas, joined a photography club, and got his son interested in it as well. He also enjoyed golfing with his daughter and grandson, and went golfing weekly with his buddies. Neil also had a love of animals especially dogs, cats, and birds. He enjoyed fly fishing and reading and talking to his daughter about history. Neil loved watching Notre Dame football games, visiting his grandchildren in Chicago, and being with his family who he loved very much. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Carol Moore; three children Laura Nesi, Kelly (Robert) Pecak, and Ryan Moore; three grandchildren Jacob Nesi, Madeline Pecak, and Luke Pecak; one sister Barbara (Miguel) Montez. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other family and close friends. Visitation will be Friday March 1, 2024 at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield from 11:00AM until the time of the service at 1:00PM.
