Orie Lee Marsh

Orie Lee Marsh passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loving family on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at the age of 74. She was born on July 27, 1948 in Pilot, Kentucky. She was reunited in heaven with her parents: Orville and Eunice Sparks, sisters: Judy Norman and Debby Watson, and brothers: Larry Sparks and Jerry Sparks. Orie is survived by the love of her life for over 54 years, Ralph Marsh Sr. Together, they raised seven children: Brian Marsh (Tammy), Maryann Sheppard (Dan), Roger Sparks, Jim Sparks (Sherri), Ralph Marsh Jr (Sandra), Greg Marsh (Crista) and Debra Birchwell (Tim). She is also survived by her siblings: Wilma Pence, Kenny Sparks (Linda), Rita Siroky, a host of in-laws, as well as a lifetime friend: Madeline Began (Bob). Orie was Grammy to forty grandchildren who each held a special place in her heart. She was also blessed with forty-one great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews she loved as her own. If you knew her, you loved her and you were always welcome to pull up a chair around the kitchen table with a warm plate of some of the best cooking you would ever eat. She will live on in the hearts of so many loved ones as family and friends were her most cherished possession and loved so dearly. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, March 29th from 5:00-8:00PM at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt.4, Fairfield. Funeral services will begin Thursday, May 29th at 10:00AM at the funeral home then immediately followed by a burial at Fairmound Cemetery in West Elkton.
