Pastor William Lee Sweet age 70 of Cincinnati went home to be with the Lord on Thursday November 3, 2022. He was born October 1, 1952 in Barbourville, Kentucky the son of the late Otho and Irene (nee Hammons). On July 16, 1971 he married Patricia Waddell, the love of his life and right hand in ministry. Reverend Sweet followed in his father’s and grandfather’s footsteps when he entered into the ministry in 1974. Throughout his ministry he served as pastor of multiple churches in Ohio, Kentucky, and Florida. He evangelized all over the Midwest and South, as well as speaking at church conventions over the years. He most recently served as Pastor of High Point Church of God. In his personal life he loved spending time with his family, fishing, and was an avid baseball fan. He enjoyed watching games with his late father and was a big fan of the Cincinnati Reds, University of Kentucky, and Florida State University. He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Patricia Sweet; four children Carrie Anne Mueller, Tara (Chad) Witt, William Lee Sweet, Jr., and Rebecca (Guillermo) Milord; and seven grandchildren Christopher Mueller, Kayla Witt, Rachel Mueller, Elizabeth (Orix) Reyna, Kyra Witt, Grant Milord, and Evan Milord. Visitation at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield on Saturday November 12, 2022 from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 PM.
