Patricia G. Lykins

Patricia (Gerhardt) Lykins, age 80 of Hamilton passed away September 8th at home surrounded by her family. She was born May 7, 1938 in Hamilton, Ohio to the late Robert and Edna Gerhardt Sr. After graduating from Mount Notre Dame, she married James T. Lykins and from this union, they had five children. Although rearing her children was always her primary focus, Pat was also employed as the office manager of Phalen Motors and later as a bookkeeper/tax preparer by Professional Business and Tax Services, both of Fairfield. An avid reader, Pat spent much of her spare time reading books of all types. She retired from The Butler County Board of Elections allowing her to spend more time with her grandchildren. Those who knew her know her grandchildren were her pride and joy. Left to cherish her memories are daughter/caregiver Nancy Hester, sons James of Trenton, Stephen (Kai) of Gulfport Florida and Matthew (Leslie) of Liberty Township; grandsons Christopher (Sherri) of Hamilton, Gunnar and Blake of Liberty Township and granddaughter Megan of Chico CA; brother Robert J (LaDonna) Gerhardt Jr of Hamilton. She was preceded in death by her son Mark of Fairfield and sister Joanne Molck of Sarasota FL. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Interment for immediate family will be at 10:30 AM on Friday September 14, 2018 at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield on Saturday September 15, 2018 from 2:00 PM until the time of the memorial service at 3:00 PM.
