Paula R. “Rosie” Hunt age 76 of Hamilton passed away Friday, July 19, 2024 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 4, 1948 in Hamilton, Ohio the daughter of the late Frank Creech and Helen Simmons Creech. Paula was a lifelong member of The First Church of God. She loved boldly with everything in her, her family and Jesus. Whenever you saw her, she was sharing stories about her children and grandchildren. She loved vacationing and nature, making several trips to Pigeon Forge each year with her family and she also loved the beach just to sit and hear the ocean or watch for dolphins. She never knew a stranger and was the first to make someone smile, a smile and laughter that lit up the room. She made lifelong friends and had many of them. She spent the first years of her marriage as a hair stylist and later to manage a deli at Freedom Foods where she was known as “Deli Momma”. Paula loved to plan parties and gatherings in her home for the holidays. Her family loved Sunday dinners after church which roast, potatoes and carrots, or soup beans, fried potatoes and cornbread was a must have. She loved to make flower arrangements and spent many years painting ceramics with her girls and best friend. She also loved her Cincinnati Reds, watching her favorite player Todd “Toddfather” Frazier. Her husband, girls, son-in-loves, and grandchildren are better because of her love and devotion to them. She was their world, a mentor, a shoulder to lean on, travel buddy, and best friend and will be deeply missed.
