Phyllis Poffenbarger

Phyllis Poffenbarger age 82 of Wilmington, Ohio passed away Wednesday October 16, 2024. She was born August 1, 1942 in Manchester, Kentucky the daughter of the late Omas Wagers and Verdie Smith Wagers. She was married to Donald Poffenbarger and he preceded her in death in 2008. Mrs. Poffenbarger graduated from Central Baptist University in Louisville, Kentucky with a degree in nursing. She worked as a registered nurse for many years and worked in the ICU at Fort Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton. She was a member of Miltonville Baptist Church. She is survived by her sister Patricia (David) Thomas and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Poffenbarger was also preceded in death by her siblings Alonzo Wagers, Harold Wagers, Marvin Wagers, Glen Wagers, Wilma Jean Lawson, and Janice Nelson.
