Rafe Lay

Lay Rafe age 94 of Fairfield passed away Wednesday December 30, 2020. He was born in Jellico, Tennessee on May 30, 1926 to the late Emery and Ethel (nee Dobson) Lay. He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 75 years Tennie (nee Chiarini); three children Ellen (Bill) Sizemore, James (Paula) Lay and Tony Lay; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Rafe served in the United States Navy and was a proud member of the Norwood Masonic Lodge. Visitation will be at The Webster Funeral Home 3080 Homeward Way at Rt 4 Fairfield on Wednesday January 6, 2021 from 5pm – 8pm with a Masonic Service at 7pm during the visitation. Funeral service to be officiated by Pastor Brian Buriff at the funeral home Thursday January 7, 2021 at 10am. Burial to follow at Crown Hill Memorial Park with full military honors.
