Rev. Elmer Derossett, Jr.

Rev. Elmer DeRossett Jr age 85 of Hulen, KY passed away on Friday September 3, 2021. He was born on October 15, 1935 in Blackmont, KY the son of the late Elmer and Lilliann (nee Hensley) DeRossett Sr. Elmer worked as a machinist for many years. He was married to Helen (nee Malicoat) DeRossett and she preceded him in death in 1999. He then married Connie (nee Hall) DeRossett and she preceded him in death in 2018. Elmer is survived by four children Lois (the late Rick) McCane, Judy (Dave) Albers, Wanda (the late Jim) Thomas, and Tricia (Butch) Partin; four grandchildren Richard (Angie) McCane, Jonathan (Jennifer) McCane, Tiffany (Jonathan) Hobart, and Melissa (Shawn) Brumfield; six great grandchildren Rebecca McCane, Mathew McCane, Tyler McCane, Lilly McCane, Braelynn Hobart, and Corbin Hobart; one sister Alice Burns. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other family and close friends. Elmer was also preceded in death by one sister Anna Ruth McFarland; two brothers in law General Hensley and Roscoe Burns. Visitation will be on Saturday September 11, 2021 at Free Holiness Church of God 3425 Cornell Rd Cincinnati 45241 from 10:00AM until the time of the funeral at 12:00PM with Sr. Pastor Randy Brown and Pastor Ryan Brown officiating.
