Condolences

Harold was a great friend and prayer partner. The Pastors Fellowship 7-8 of us pastors in Miami Valley was a blessing to each of us. He was a humble, sincere man who was a great example of Christian character. His faithfulness to his family and churches was exemplary. He will be greatly missed. God bless all the rest of the family. Anna is a special lady and I am sometimes credited with the beginning of her public career by asking her to sing at the Miami Valley Associational meeting which she had not done before. After that she was called on often to sing in many settings. All of you are blessed to be God's children and to be Thompson's.

Harold was a good shepherd to our family even years after his time at Central Baptist. He never failed us when we called on him for a need and was there to officiate at the funeral for each of our parents, on my side of the family and Darlene's. God bless the Thompson family - we will meet again in heaven one day.

We, the Richard Baker Family, were truly blessed to have known Harold and his precious family. The Thompson Family was an instrumental part of our earlier lives at Central Baptist Church in Middletown, Ohio. The Thompson Family was home to us. The Baker, Moland and O'Neill Families loved being a part of the Christian community Harold and his family built at Central Baptist.. Many of our milestones in life were intertwined with Harold and Anna. We are grateful to of had Harold in our lives. The highlight of our Sunday mornings were seeing Harold and Anna at Cracker Barrel and having the honor of speaking with them and getting a hug. Thompson Family we will always love you and we will keep you all in our prayers. Betty Jo Baker Fordyce

Pastor Harold was a very special person. He loved the Lord & lived by example. He was blessed with the wonderful sense of knowing when someone needed a kind word or prayer; & never hesitated to reach out. He had a warm smile, contagious laugh & a twinkle in his eyes! I will never forget him! He loved his Anna, his children & grandchildren beyond words. He always beamed when his family sang at church - he was so proud of them! My love & very deepest sympathy to the entire Thompson Family. May the love & memories your family has shared over the years comfort you & give you peace. May God bless & watch over each of you.

I loved Bro Harold as my pastor; he always greeted everybody with a smile and he had a great sense of humor! He and I always kidded each other; he knew no stranger and he reached out to console or minister sensing the need at times without being asked. I loved the whole family and my heart breaks at his passing. You all have my most sincere sympathy! I wanted to be there so bad for the funeral, but very afraid of the Covid Virus.

Harold Dee was one of the sweetest and thoughtful person (cousin) I knew. He was so kind to his Ky. family. Anytime there was needs here he and Anna were here. My grandmother Dot though there was nothing like him. I loved to hear his family sing. It was so beautiful. The best memories I have was when he would come to my grandma's and he , JF and GC would get together and start their story telling. Oh, the laughing would start. We, were so thankful for him to always come when we needed him. We have lost a wonderful family member but god has gained an angel. Anna, Wanda and family you are in our prayers during this time. God bless each of you. Katie Pendergraft McCowan

Brother Thompson helped me through a very trying time in my life. He showed me that God would lead me out of despair to victory if I leaned on His understanding....not my own. He was so right! What can I say about such a wise, kind and caring man but to thank you for all you did for me and my family. You blessed my life. Condolences to Anna and children and grandchildren. I know you will miss him. You were his pride and joy and rightly so. His life brought much joy to all that knew him. Thank you Jesus for sending such a good and faithful servant to this earth. Well done! RIP Brother Thompson. Love & prayers of comfort to his loving family. I know you have the assurance of your faith! I do too thanks to this man!

Harold and family were very instrumental in my Christian life. He was my sounding board and he mentored me. I treasure the memories of the times we worshiped together, studied together, attended conferences together, prayed together and ate together. I will miss him although we have not been close since we moved out of state over 25 years ago. We still touched base occasionally. The last time I saw him was when he officiated at my sister's funeral ten years ago. Now they are rejoicing together in heaven.
