Richard W. Martin age 77 of South Lebanon, Ohio passed away on Tuesday October 15, 2024. He was born on June 20, 1947 in Marietta, Ohio the son of the late John and Aline (nee Graham) Martin. He grew up in Waterford Ohio where he was surrounded by wonderful family and friends. He was involved with Boy Scouts, marching band, and many other activities. Dick attended Ohio University where he obtained degrees in Electrical Engineering and Business. This was also where he met the love of his life Glenda. They raised their family in Springboro, Ohio. They would later move to Eaton Ohio where they had a farm raising cattle and boarding horses. In 2018, they moved to South Lebanon Ohio to be closer to their grandchildren. Dick worked for the University of Dayton as an award winning research engineer at Wright Patterson Air Force Base for 37 years. Dick was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. He served at multipole churches over his lifetime. Most recently, he had served at Imago Dei Christian Fellowship Church where he and Glenda joyfully attended. He is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years Glenda Martin; two sons Brian (Holly) Martin and James (Lindsey) Martin; six grandchildren Jacob Martin, Macy Martin, Grace Martin, Avery Martin, Addison Martin, and Nova Martin. He also leaves behind many other family and close friends. Visitation will be on Friday October 25, 2024 at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield from 12:00PM until the time of the funeral at 2:00PM with Pastor Jim Crabb officiating.
