Riley "R.C." Saunders

Riley “R.C.” Saunders Jr. age 85 of Liberty Township passed away on Friday March 22, 2019. He was born on August 11, 1933 in Nathalie, VA the son of the late Cabel and Ada May (nee Short) Saunders. On March 22, 1986 he married Phyllis Jean Snelling. Mr. Saunders was a member of Tri-County Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife of over 33 years Phyllis Jean Saunders; six children Tim (Cindy) Saunders, Ruth (David) Albrinck, Jim (Debbie) Saunders, Missy (Jaye) Livingston, Julie (the late Mel) Streitmatter, and Jay Snelling; and one brother Roy (Barbara) Saunders. He also leaves behind many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and close friends. Mr. Saunders was also preceded in death by his first wife Carol Saunders; one daughter Julia Saunders; and one brother Keith Saunders. Visitation will be on Wednesday March 27, 2019 at Tri-County Baptist Church 8195 Beckett Rd. West Chester, OH 45069 from 10:00AM until the time of the funeral at 11:00AM with Pastor Brian McManus officiating. Burial to follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
