Ronald G. Welker

Ronald G. Welker passed away unexpectedly on December 11th, 2018. Ron grew up in Irondequoit and also lived in Greece before relocating to the Cincinnati area. He was very outgoing and could make friends with anyone he met. Ron was a true outdoorsman enjoying fishing and hunting. When his children were younger, he enjoyed watching them play hockey. Ron is survived by his pride and joy, his children, Michael and Maggie (Joseph Dingey) along with their mother, Maria Welker; his siblings, Deborah (Scott) Trubatch and Daniel (Stacey) Welker; his uncle George Swartele (Audrey); cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Ronald and Joan Welker. Friends may call Friday, December 21st, 4-7 PM at the funeral chapel (1031 Ridge Road Rochester, NY). A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, December 22nd, 9 AM at Holy Cross Church, 4492 Lake Ave Rochester, NY. Interment will be private. The family will hold an additional memorial service in Cincinnati,OH in the spring of 2019. Obituary will updated then.
