Ruby A. Owens

Ruby A. Owens age 85 of Hamilton passed away on Saturday July 20, 2019. She was born on June 5, 1934 in Big Stone Gap, VA the daughter of the late Roy and Rena (nee Sampson) Lane. She was married to Hershel Owens and he preceded her in death in 1978. Ruby was a member of Tylersville Rd Worship Center. She leaves behind five daughters Rhonda (Dennis) Burns, Colleen (Louie) Nunn, Rena Rosemary Owens, Cassandra (the late William) Jones, and Lisa (Jamie) Gillespie; twelve grandchildren Kevin (Candi) Burns, Tammy (Dean) Marcum, Sonya (Mike) Tuley, Shannon (Steve) Tanner, Craig (April) Farrell, James (Tracy) Jones, Dawn (Jeremy) Hacker, Lacie (Shane) McIntosh, James Gillespie, Jeremy (Melissa) Hounchel, Robert Bingle, and Whitney Bingle; twenty eight great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; one sister June (Bill) Falin; one brother Earl (Shelby) Lane; one sister in law Elizabeth Lane; and one dear friend Nettie Diefenbacher. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other family and close friends. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Kim (Robert) Bingle; five brothers Paul Lane, Charlie Lane, Freelen Lane, Marvin Lane and Eugene Lane; two sisters Eunice Pittman and Nell Blanton. Visitation will be on Friday July 26, 2019 at Tylersville Rd Worship Center 2753 Tylersville Rd. Indian Springs, OH 45015 from 10:30AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00PM with Pastor Keith McRoberts officiating. Burial to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
