Sherril Lay age 80 passed away Thursday December 17, 2020. He was born November 13, 1940 in Liberty, KY to the late Curtis and Hazel (nee Brackett) Lay. He is survived by daughters Gwen Lay, Marvetta Lay; siblings Charlene Matthews, Marcella Coffman, Jean Taylor, Velma Martin, Patty (George) Douglas and was also survived by many other family and friends. Sherril was also preceded in death by wife Peggy Lay and sister Phyllis Chadwell. Visitation 4-7 PM Monday at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday December 22, 2020 at the funeral home. Due to COVID-19 masks and social distancing will be required.
