I met Skylar through a few different mutual friends and through choir in high school. In all her life, every conversation we had put me in a better mood. She showed me some of my now favorite music, and made the effort to keep in touch after high school. She would always share updates on the things she loved; Sims, her cats, her friends, etc. I am praying for you all, I cant imagine how hard it is to lose someone so kind.

Skylar was one of my peers at Lakota West High School. We shared a ton of interests like fashion, music, art, and much more! She had my vote for her to become senior prom queen in the spring of 2017. Skylar is a beautiful, awesome, and loving person. She will always be in my thoughts and in prayers along with all of her family and friends.

Skylar was my childhood best friend. At the time she was an only child, and she always wanted a sister. My sister Amber and I were with her all the time and we shared so many great memories , she felt like our other sister. I always looked up to her in so many ways and admired her confidence, outgoing personality, and ability to make anyone laugh and light up the room. She was such an amazing person with the biggest heart I've ever seen. I'm forever grateful for our memories and will never forget her wonderful soul. Rest In Peace, Skylar

I was Skylar's jr. high choir teacher. She took a stack of sticky notes and wrote little positive messages on them. She hid them all over the choir room. I didn't find the last one till 2 years ago. I kept every one of them. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and loved ones. I have hope that I will see her again one day.

I had choir with skylar and she was so musically gifted. Just like with music, being social with everyone came easily to her. She was always smiling and friendly. It breaks my heart that she is no longer with us and my thoughts and prayers will stay with you. I'm so sorry for your loss. RIP Skylar

Skylar was a friend of my kids. When she would come over to visit, she would always make it a point to find me & my wife just to say hello. Most of those hellos turned in to memorable conversations. I'm so sad. She became my friend. I'm thinking of her, her family & her friends.
