Obituary for Stephanie D. Walker

Stephanie D. Walker age 49 of Fairfield passed away suddenly on Wednesday October 30, 2019. She was born on October 20, 1970 in Wellington, KS the daughter of Clairdy Walker and the late Carol Ann (nee Venable) Walker. Stephanie was a woman of God, a mother, sister, daughter, savior and dear friend. She was known by many because of her contagious energy. Her life would seem short to many but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quality of time in which one lives. Stephanie was a woman who could do it all, both beauty and knowledge. She graduated from Forest Park High School where she spent time in cheerleading and choir. She went onto Bowling Green and University of Cincinnati with a double bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing. She received many awards for her accomplishments and was the first to receive the Just Community Award at UC. Stephanie was very active in her community from a young age until her walk with the Lord. She was always fighting for what was right for her and her family and complete strangers. She always made a stand for what was good and made sure to help in any way for anyone around her, she was a true angel to everyone she met. Stephanie was a devout woman of faith and was an active parishioner at Saint Gabriel Catholic Church. Her legend will live on forever and always through her beloved son Andrew Michael Walker; her father and second mother Clairdy and Marina Walker; one sister Kimberly DeAnn Walker-Bowlin and her husband Jeremy; one brother Michael Brent Walker and his fiance Brittney Stiles; half sister Lisann Williams, and her husband Jerry; and her loyal canine Prince Walker. She leaves her love and encouragement behind through her nephews Jalen Walker, Evan Walker, and Robert Stallings-Williams, and nieces Peyton Walker, Sophia Walker, Jerrica Williams, and the rest of the Walker family. Stephanie is also survived by a host of aunts and uncles in the Kansas area. Visitation will be on Saturday November 9, 2019 at Saint Gabriel Catholic Church 48 West Sharon Ave Cincinnati 45246 from 9:00AM until the time of the funeral mass at 10:00AM with Father David Fay officiating. Burial to follow in Spring Grove Cemetery. THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield is serving the family. www.websterfuneralhomes.com

Condolences

My heart broke when I heard of you leaving, Stephanie, just like it did when I lost my dear friend - your mother, Carol. You will be missed! God's peace and rest is now yours.

I have known Stephanie's Father, Clairdy, for several years through a Veteran organization. Additionally, I have also have gotten to know his wife Marina. Though I never met Stephanie, I felt I knew her through Clairdy. He is very proud of his family always mentioning their accomplishments. Not knowing the history of Stephanie until reading her obituary, I see why he is so proud of her. My wife and I extend our condolences to Clairdy, Marina and the Walker Family in the loss of such a wonderful daughter and sibling.
