Sue Ann Hornsby

Sue A. Hornsby, age 89, of Hamilton entered peacefully into the Joy of our Lord on Wednesday, July 28, 2021. Sue was born on May 29, 1932 to the tate Mary Elizabeth (Malott) & George Peter Getz. On September 22, 1955, she married the love of her life, Dale E. Hornsby & they were blessed with over 32 years of marriage. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Dale, sister, Doris J. Bittinger, brother -in-law, Louis "Marv" Bittinger, (Liberty Township, OH ), brother Billye Getz, sister - in -law, Mary Jane Getz (Fairfield, OH) and cousins, nieces & nephews. Left to cherish her memory are her children Paul R. (Donna) Hornsby (Hamilton, OH) & Barb Hornsby (Hamilton, OH) & grandson Alex (Kendra) Hornsby (Hamilton, OH) & great grandchildren, Lily & Parker. Fondly remembered by friends, nieces & nephews, Mom had a true gift of giving of herself to others, whether it was making Easter candy, choosing flowers for Mother's Day or assembling gift bags for Father's Day, Mom taught us early in life that true JOY, is Jesus first, Others second & Yourself last. We are so blessed to hold these memories dear in our hearts. Mom also loved her pal, "Missy". Until we meet again, Mom..... We love you!
