Tena M. Swann

Tena Marie Swann of Hamilton, Ohio passed away on Thursday September 27, 2018 the day before what would have been her 44th wedding anniversary to the love of her life, Thomas Richard Swann. Born in Portsmouth, Virginia on October 13, 1956 the daughter of the late Oren Dorf Campbell II and Georgia (Miley) Campbell. She married Thomas Richard Swann shortly after graduating high school on September 28, 1974 and they moved to Hamilton, Ohio. She was also preceded in death by her brother Oren Dorf Campbell, III “Butch”, twin granddaughters Aubrey Celeste Abbott and Azlynn Sierra Abbott, and grandson Mason Diego Abbott. She is survived by her husband Thomas Richard Swann; daughter Jessica Tena (Jeffrey) Abbott of Cape Coral, FLA; sons Brian Jacob Swann and George Thomas Swann, both of Hamilton; grandchildren Andrew, Lukah, Matthew, Parker, Carter, and Alyssa; sister Jackie Allen of Oxford, OH; sister in law Marcia Campbell of Simi Valley, CA. and numerous nephews, nieces, friends, and co-workers. She was employed as a ward clerk/STNA for the last 24 years at the Butler County Care Facility. She was also the unit chair and president of Local 5541 for the USWA (United Steel Workers of America) for the last 9 years. She loved her children and family more than life itself and will be greatly missed by all. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to the charity of one’s choice. A memorial service for Tena will be held at 2:00 PM Friday October 5, 2018 at the Butler County Care Facility, 1800 Princeton Road, Hamilton, Ohio.
