Thelma Joann Dozier

Thelma “Joann” Dozier age 72 of Fairfield passed away on Saturday April 7, 2018. She was born on August 11, 1945 in Dayton the daughter of the late Johnny and Virginia (nee Cooper) Wilhoit. She married James Dozier on 1973. Joann was a longtime member of Springdale Nazarene Church. She will be sadly missed by her close friends who she went to Mcdonalds with every morning. She also leaves behind her husband of over 45 years James Dozier; three children Philip Dozier of Hamilton, Rebekah (Terry Ford) Dozier of Fairfield, and Sara Dozier of Fairfield; seven grandchildren Ashley Bell, Tiffany (Billy) Cooper, Philip M. Dozier, Austin Dozier, Brianna Ford, Brittani Dozier and Kayden Dozier; one great grandchild Cason Cooper; and three sisters Joy, Toni, and Connie. She also leaves behind many other family members and close friends. Visitation will be on Saturday April 21, 2018 from 10:30am until the time of the memorial service at 11:30am with Pastor Marshall Duke officiating.
