Thelma L. Jones

Thelma L. Jones age 91 of Cincinnati passed away Monday September 16, 2024 in her home. She was born July 9, 1933 in Twila, Kentucky the daughter of the late Samuel DeRossett and Nancy Hensley DeRossett. Mrs. Jones was married to Raymond Clyde McCane and he preceded her in death in 1989 and then married Floyd Jones and her also preceded her in death in 2012. She was a member of the Free Holiness Church of God for over 56 years. She was a great cook and enjoyed spending time with her beloved family. Mrs. Jones was known as a friend to everybody she met. She is survived by her five children Ron DeRossett, Larry (Louise) DeRossett, Ken (Juanita) Place, Louise (Tony) Mounce, and Lorraine Koehler; five step children Ray McCane, Rick McCane, Jackie McCane, Doug McCane, and Tammy McCane; many grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Thelma was also preceded in death by her two daughters Carol Crawford and Brenda Place. Visitation 5-8 PM Wednesday at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday September 19, 2024 at the funeral home with Pastor Ryan Brown, officiating.
