Condolences

Darroyl was a man with a big heart and gentle spirit. I knew him when he was married to my sister, Patsy , and was impressed by his intense devotion and unqualified love for her and their daughter, Arabeth. May you both find consolation in having known such a man as a husband and father. Sending love ...Chris

Darroyl had a great love and appreciation of Greenhills, as do I. He never missed an opportunity to be part of a Bender gathering. He felt especially close to my father, Paul Bender and insisted on being one of his pall bearers. I will never forget his words at my father's funeral: "Paul Bender gave me one of the greatest gifts in Life - he accepted me for who I was." Thanks for that honesty and appreciation Darroyl. I have felt great love and respect for you ever since that day.

Adaptive freedoms to some lyrics: Well, they say people come The say people go This particular diamond was extra special And though you might be gone, and the world may not know Still I see you in the celestial home. My Deep love, my dear departed friend.

Will be missed, always a great smile!

"Like brothers in blood, or sisters who ride Yeah we swore on that night we'd be friends 'til we die But the changing of winds, and the way waters flow Life is short as the falling of snow And I'm gonna miss you, I know", Coldplay lyrics which move my feelings and bring tears to my eyes in my memory of you, my deep personal friend....till I knock a heaven's door. - Kim

Arabeth though I cannot take away your pain from this great loss, you are in my thoughts & prayers.

Our time together will never be forgotten and the blessing of our daugther Arabeth was a gift that only the Lord could have given us. Darroyl will be in our hearts until we too meet him in the Lords kingdom. He loved all his friends, family and especially the Lord. I love and will miss you my first Love
