Wilbert "Gene" E. Mink

Wilbert E. “Gene” Mink age 79 of Fairfield passed away Friday December 11, 2020. He was born June 27, 1941 in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky the son of the late John and Stella (Miller) Mink. Mr. Mink was a hardworking man who loved to “wheel and deal”. He worked as a painter and enjoyed fishing. He was the father of Connie (Chris) Tankersley, Angela (Jeramie) Jones, and the late Carl (Jamie) Mink. He is also survived by eight grandchildren Carl Anthony (Emma) Mink, Shelby Mink, Adrianna Mink, Roger Thornberry, Randy Thornberry, Jacob Jones, Riley Jones, and Alexandra Jones; two great grandchildren Colton Mink and Xavier Mink; one brother Jim Baudendistel, and two sisters in law Bonnie Hyde and Venus Bryant. A celebration of Mr. Mink’s life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
